First message from Assad after HTS attacks: We have the capacity to destroy them with the help of allies

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) organization, which has thousands of militants in northern Syria, launched an attack to capture Aleppo, which is under the control of the Syrian state, on November 27. While HTS captured the city center of Aleppo yesterday, it took control of the entire Idlib region today.

According to Sputnik’s report, Syrian President Bashar Assad discussed the situation in the region with United Arab Emirates President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

He referred to his allies

In the written statement of the Syrian President’s Office, Assad noted that “Syria continues to defend its stability and territorial integrity against all terrorists and those who support them, and that it has the capacity to defeat and destroy them with the help of its allies and friends.”

In the statement, Mohammed bin Zayed was also quoted as saying that “his country stands by the Syrian state and supports Syria in establishing its sovereignty, territorial integrity and stability in the fight against terrorism.”
