In the 3rd week of the UEFA Champions League, Girona hosted Slovan Bratislava.
The home team won the match played at Estadi Municipal de Montilivi Stadium 2-0 and got its first victory in the tournament.
The goals that brought Girona the victory were scored by Miguel Gutierrez in the 42nd minute and Juanpe Ramirez in the 73rd minute.
On the other hand, Girona’s Cristhian Stuani could not convert the penalty he took in the 88th minute into a goal.
With this result, Girona reached 3 points. Slovan Bratislava has no points.
Girona will host PSV next week in the Champions League. Slovan Bratislava will host Dinamo Zagreb.
