Max Verstappen will receive a five-place penalty for Sunday’s Sao Paulo Grand Prix after Red Bull fitted his car with a new, sixth of the year, internal combustion engine. This means that the Dutchman will at best start from sixth place at Interlagos.
On the other side of the Red Bull garage, the team changed the chassis in Sergio Perez’s car, with the Mexican running a slightly different floor to Verstappen’s older spec, with the team hoping both their cars will they have the same aerodynamic parts in the Las Vegas GP.
