Florin Talpan attacked Mircea Lucescu in the FCSB scandal

Florin Talpan launched a furious attack on Mircea Lucescu, after Romania – Cyprus, 4-1.

Mircea Lucescu entered into a “war” with Steaua Bucharest, after the other day, he said that no one can force him to say “Steaua” when referring to FCSB.

Florin Talpan, attack on Mircea Lucescu, after Romania – Cyprus 4-1

Florin Talpan analyzed the game of the national team, of late, and also spoke in harsh terms about the selector Mircea Lucescuwhich he does not even place in the top three Romanian coaches in history.

“I watched the national team match with clenched fists of emotion, but disappointed with the team’s game! The behavior of our team is to be commended because they did not respond to the challenges of the Kosovo team, rated as a modest team, but they played well and only luck helped us not to lose the game.

I note with regret the poor play of the footballers just a few months away from that superb 3-0 against Ukraine, with Edi Iordănescu on the bench. I am convinced that it is not the fault of the team, but only the change of the coach.

Edi Iordănescu coached the national team, he had remarkable results, he didn’t start wars with Steaua, he didn’t try to be above the law, to say that he doesn’t care about court decisions, he just coached. He trained superlatively and had the results we are all proud of! Now, we notice that the current selector has other concerns!

Instead of focusing on the team, he just likes to ‘be in the spotlight’, give his opinion and make value judgments that have nothing to do with reality. And neither with history! Nor with the rule of law!

Because in the rule of law, the decision of the courts is respected as the laws are respected by all citizens! Because we are all equal before the law, no one is above the law, not even Lucescu!

You cannot condemn him for being angry because he is not among the top 3 best Romanian coaches of all time: Ienei, Covaci, Iordănescu! What a peak, they are real stars! But this is it! We cannot change history, as he himself said.

Ienei, Covaci and Iordănescu will always be the three best football coaches that Romania has had. And if Lucescu wants to come close to their performances, he should work harder. Let him mind his own business and train! And to have results and perform as Edi Iordănescu had a few months ago

I can’t win half cases. I win them and that’s it. If we want exceptional results, we must show seriousness, perseverance and a lot of courage, proof of acceptance of situations that are beyond us and are not always favorable.

Lucescu has to accept that Steaua Bucharest belongs to the Romanian state, it belongs to the military since 1947. FCSB is another team that has no connection with Steaua Bucharest, it just parasitized it for years.

Also with disappointment I noticed the activity of some so-called sports journalists who in the last few days formulated real attacks on Stella and the stars. I have seen a lot of rubbish and lies, untruths written in the press about Steaua, which shows ignorance of the club’s history!

You have to study, read to know and understand what the Steaua Bucharest Army Sports Club means for Romanian sports, which is the largest sports club in Romania, with over 42 sports sections!

How can you say ‘The star is dead’ when stellar athletes have remarkable results over time? Should I just mention that a few months ago they excelled at the Paris Olympics?

This identity conflict would have been settled instantly in another country, Talpan also believes: “The Steaua – Fcsb conflict would not exist in the foreign media. All aspects would have been clarified there from the first day. In our country, however, sports journalists not only refuse to read the final decisions of the courts that are public, but they also do not accept them!”, says a large text published by Florin Talpan, on his personal Facebook account.
