The police inform that it is driving in foggy conditions on many roads in the counties of Arad, Bihor, Caraș-Severin, Călărași, Cluj, Dolj, Galați, Gorj, Maramureș, Mehedinți, Olt, Sibiu, Teleorman and Timiș, traffic visibility being reduced below 200 meters, isolated below 50 meters. Due to the negative temperatures in certain areas, fog can form in places.
On the main roads, namely the A 1 Bucharest-Pitești, A 2 Bucharest-Constanța, A 3 Bucharest-Brașov, DN 1 Ploiești-Brașov and DN 7 Râmnicu Vâlcea-Sibiu highways, traffic is generally on a dry road with good visibility and low traffic values.
Drivers are advised to drive at low speed and with increased attention, to ensure themselves well before each maneuver, to avoid risky overtaking, to use the lighting and fogging systems and to increase the safety distance between vehicles.
