“For a greener Belgrade” – declared winners

The campaign “For a greener Belgrade” was held for the 21st time with the aim of encouraging citizens to improve their environment by nurturing greenery and flowers. A three-member commission announced the winners in seven categories, rewarding the effort and creativity of the participants.

“For a greener Belgrade”: categories

In the category of the most beautiful green area around a residential building, the residential community at 13 Cerski venac Street in Čukarica won. Their garden, described as a “palace oasis”, stood out for its demanding topiary forms and careful maintenance.

Miodrag Kosjerina from Zvezdara won the title for the Most Beautiful Balcony, where greenery is shaped in the form of a green wall that combines aesthetics and functionality. Second place went to Slađana Ilić from Savski venc, while third place went to Daliborka Komazec from New Belgrade.

The restaurant “Čedić” from Čukarica won the award for the most beautiful green area of ​​the restaurant. Their traditional garden provides a pleasant atmosphere for rest and relaxation. It is followed by “Caffe Ultimatum” from Vračar and the restaurant “Three Points” from Savski venc.

The Belgrade Fair was declared the building with the most beautiful green area in front of the business building, thanks to the beautiful conifers that ennoble the space.

The most beautifully decorated school yard belongs to the Fourth Belgrade Gymnasium, while the kindergarten “Skadarlija” won the award for the most beautifully decorated preschool yard. Adult deciduous trees in the yard of the kindergarten provide pleasant shade for the youngest to play.

Milina Mihajlović from Čukarica won the category of the most beautiful garden, thanks to a garden rich in various plants and a combination of topiary forms and free-growing species. Second place went to Athos Mikijelj from Knez Miloš, while Dragan Krpešić from Zemun, who maintains an exotic garden in city conditions, took third place.

Special awards were given to the primary school “Sava Šumanović” from Altina, for a responsible attitude towards the environment, and to the preschool institution “Dr. Sima Milošević”, kindergarten “Zlatni Bor” from Zemun, for an imaginative and cheerful environment.

PUK “Zelenilo-Belgrade” congratulated the awardees, emphasizing the importance of their contribution to the preservation and improvement of Belgrade’s green areas. This action serves as an example of the positive attitude of citizens towards their living and working space, promoting a more beautiful and healthy environment for everyone.
