Rimowa is celebrating its 120th brand anniversary. And they celebrate it in an innovative way for fans of their luggage. She prepared for modernized pieces.
Iconic luggage has been the most important product of the brand from the very beginning, with an original design. And it still applies. The trunks and their characteristic aluminum grooves attract their fans even today.
What’s different today?
In addition to the new logo, the suitcases are complemented by a number of key functional improvements – modernized wheels, handles and the interior of the suitcases. The changes also affect the luggage collections themselves, which have narrowed down to three basic lines of aluminum and polycarbonate suitcases – Original, Essential and Hybrid.
Why does Rimowa?
The brand is synonymous with quality and longevity with technical sophistication. These basic building blocks of all Rimowa products ensure that your belongings are protected, safe and the luggage easy and comfortable to handle when traveling.
All suitcases are made 80% by hand, from durable and high-quality materials. They consist of up to 200 components and more than 90 work steps during production.

Original collection
The Original collection consists of iconic aluminum suitcases in silver, gold and black variants, made in Germany from high-quality aluminum coming from European sources.
Essential
Lightweight polycarbonate suitcases are represented in the Essential collection, divided into three groups. RIMOWA Essential presents classic versatile polycarbonate suitcases, designed and manufactured to meet all requirements for strong, durable and lightweight luggage. The Essential Lite is the lightest of the line and the Essential Sleeve is only available in cabin size and comes with a handy front pocket for easy access. TO
Collection Hybrid
For a change, it elaborately combines both the most modern materials – the resistance of RIMOWA’s unique aluminum-magnesium alloy with the maximum lightness of polycarbonate.
