“The Misses’ Big Ball”. This will be the theme of the 95th edition of the Miss France election which will be broadcast live from Futuroscope in Poitiers, on December 14, on TF1. The show will include nine paintings.
The thirty candidates will notably try their hand at “dancing the twist” and “the country”. There will be “tango for the table of 15 semi-finalists”, “twenty classical dancers will accompany the five finalists” and the “famous lift of Dirty Dancing » should also be on the program, as Frédéric Gilbert, the producer of the competition, clarified in a video message broadcast this Friday during the press conference organized at the headquarters of the first channel.
The “surprise” of Jean-Pierre Foucault
While waiting for their big night, the thirty regional Misses will fly to Ivory Coast on Sunday. “This is the first time since its creation that the traditional trip has taken place in West Africa. The candidates will discover a country rich in culture and heritage,” said Cindy Fabre, the director of the competition.
This election will be the thirtieth presented by Jean-Pierre Foucault. “I haven’t said my last word,” the host said in a pre-recorded message, confirming that he was not about to give up his place. “He has a little surprise at the start of the show,” said Frédéric Gilbert. A little dance step?
