Il The 2024 Ford Tourneo Courier is the new incarnation of a versatile MPVdesigned for those who need space and practicality, without giving up a pleasant, comfortable and safe ride. This car manages to blend rugged style with intelligent functionality, addressing an audience looking for a practical solution for daily life and leisure activities. I drove it for a week in different contexts of use, and this is my test: what I like and what I don’t.
What I like
One of the aspects What is most striking about the Ford Tourneo Courier is the size of the interior spaces. Despite being a compact vehicle, with a length of approx 4.3 meters, it offers an impressive load capacity, reaching up to 1,188 liters with the rear seats folded down. This makes it perfect for those who need a vehicle that can comfortably transport both people and bulky luggage or sports equipment, without compromises.
From a design point of view, Tourneo Courier combines styling elements inspired by SUVs with the practicality typical of MPVsoffering modern external lines and a robust front. The 125 HP 1.0 EcoBoost engine performs excellently, offering good thrust in acceleration and guaranteeing an engaging driving experience, especially for a vehicle in this segment. The car is available with a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, allowing a choice based on each user’s driving preferences. The on-board entertainment system is also very good and has excellent stability wireless connection for Apple Car Play and Android Auto.
How to drive

Even if it derives from a technical-mechanical base shared with other Ford models in different segments, manages to maintain a handling typical of traditional cars. This feature is particularly appreciable in city maneuvers and in tighter curves, where the car responds with agility, demonstrating good stability thanks to its well-balanced chassis. Honorable mention for turning radius: the car turns “in a handkerchief”considering the dimensions.
During longer journeys, Ford Tourneo Courier 2024 proves to be a reliable and comfortable companion. The silence of the passenger compartment and the quality of the suspensions help to reduce vibrations and road noise, offering a pleasant driving experience even on long journeys. The 125 HP engine responds well to power requests, allowing you to tackle both urban and extra-urban roads with ease.
What I don’t like
Despite the many positive aspects, there are some details that could be improved. First of all, Fuel consumption is quite high for a vehicle of this category, with an average of around 15 km/l (and a diesel option wouldn’t have been bad…) This could be a weak point for those looking a more fuel-efficient MPV.
Another critical issue concerns the layout of the interiors: There is no real central storage compartment on the dashboard, which would have been very useful for storing small items during travel. Furthermore, the design of the instrument panel, which is too inclined towards the driver, is not particularly attractive and could benefit from a restyling to improve its aesthetics and functionality. And then there is the “topic” of air conditioning: all temperature and ventilation speed functions can be set directly from the screen. This is inconvenient and impractical, there was space to integrate physical controls and it would have been a much better solution.
Who should buy it
Ford Tourneo Courier 2024 An excellent choice for families who need a spacious and versatile vehiclededicated to those who don’t want to give up practicality, functionality and intuitiveness, especially when driving. Here there will be no need to “get used” to a different configuration because you get on board an understanding is immediately created given its origins as a common car. It is particularly suitable for those who love outdoor activities and need a vehicle capable of transporting sports equipment or bulky luggage without problems.
With a price of starting from 23,950 eurosTourneo Courier represents a solution competitive in the compact MPV marketespecially considering its technological equipment and available space.
