Forecasters promised early spring in the Leningrad region

A significant increase in temperature is expected in March.

In the Leningrad region this year it will become warmer earlier than usual – weather forecasters are expecting an early spring, writes “Russian newspaper».

The media, citing the Hydrometeorological Center, notes that high temperatures are expected as early as March 2025.

At the same time, the weather will be milder not only in the Leningrad region, but also in many regions of Russia, including Karelia, Pskov, Novgorod and Murmansk regions, as well as in Eastern Siberia. It will also be warmer than usual in the south of Western Siberia and Transbaikalia.

And heat waves are possible even in the Amur region, Primorye and western Chukotka.

Spring will come to the capital region this year on March 20–21, forecasters promise.
