Foreign residents bought $124.2 million worth of stocks last week.
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) published Weekly Securities Statistics.
Accordingly, persons resident abroad bought net $124.2 million worth of stocks in the week ending July 19, while selling $700 million worth of Government Domestic Debt Securities (DİBS) and $10.5 million worth of Non-General Government Sector (ÖST) assets.
The stock of persons resident abroad, which was 41 billion 52 million dollars as of July 12, increased to 41 billion 448 million dollars on July 19.
In the same period, the DİBS stock of persons resident abroad decreased from 13 billion 174 million dollars to 12 billion 292 million dollars, and the ÖST stock decreased from 423.7 million dollars to 410.9 million dollars.
