Scenes that he will probably remember forever.

Maccabi Tel Aviv spent almost the entire last season in Belgrade, and the reason for that is the war between Israel and Palestine.

American quarterback – Lorenco Braunrevealed how it was for him, during the period when they were still in Israel.

“Last year I was in a very difficult situation and everything was out of our control. We didn’t know much about the history of that part or the situation, and I still know very little about everything… What I remember best is that first day when everything happened. Early in the morning we were woken up by sirens and the sounds of bombs, it was very scary.” – said the former defender of Crvena zvezda, who then adds:

“At that moment, my wife was pregnant and we were expecting a son, so we were looking at what and how to do next. We didn’t know where to go, the airports were closed and many teammates came to us to solve the problem together. Soon the whole team went to Cyprus and we were safe there, but it was still scary.” Braun concluded.

Brown left Maccabi this summer and joined the Greek giants, Panathinaikos.
