Chadakat Ullah Miyaji, former chairman of Barbakund Union Parishad and president of Union Awami League, accused in several cases of Sitakunda police station, has been arrested.
He was arrested from Pahartali police station in the city on Friday (November 8) evening.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sitakunda Police Station. Mojibur Rahman said, Sitakunda Awami League leader Chadakat Ullah Miyaji was arrested from Pahartali area of the city on Friday evening.
He also said that there is a case against him in the police station. How many cases there are in the past, that is being scrutinized.
