A sixty-year-old man from Bergamo was arrested for possession of child pornography material: he was found in possession of a thousand files created by exploiting minors. The investigations were carried out by investigators from the Cyber Security Operations Center in Milan, in collaboration with the Bergamo section and under the coordination of the Brescia Prosecutor’s Office.
The investigations revealed that the suspect continued to search for more and more illicit material on the web. The first report would have arrived in 2021 where an upload of child pornography files was discovered on two popular cloud platforms and from here the investigations were started. Then there were more and more reports of similar operations. In the end it was discovered that between February 2021 and May 2024 a great many child pornography files. After analyzing many connections, The Postal Police managed to trace the 60-year-oldThe man had over a thousand child pornography files.
We will now proceed with further analysis of computer devices and cloud spaces in order to understand further illicit conduct. Above all – as explained The First Bergamo – work is also underway to identify the young victims of the videos.
