Four Russian children returned to Russia with the assistance of Lvova-Belova

Four Russian children have returned to Russia; they were reunited with their families thanks to the work of children’s ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova, the Qatari embassy and the Ukrainian side.

Documents were prepared and transport logistics were worked out to return the children to their homeland; representatives of the ICRC and the State Border Committee of Belarus are providing support in this regard.

RIA Novosti reportsthat sisters Maria and Katerina, a girl named Angelina and seven-year-old Vasya returned to the Russian Federation.

In July, the children’s ombudsman said Russia had returned a 12-year-old daughter to a family from Ukraine.
