Fractal Design is known for its high-quality cases, and now the company has updated its Era model to version number 2. Fractal Design says that Era 2 continues in the field of distinctive design without forgetting cooling features.
The first thing you notice about the model is its stylized design. The lines are a bit flexible looking, and on the roof of the case there is a wooden grill that enhances cooling. The main material of the 366 x 165 x 314 millimeter case is aluminum, and it does not have the window that is often found in cases.
The case has fan slots for either four 120-millimeter fans or two 120-millimeter and two 140-millimeter fans. Two 120-millimeter Aspect PWM fans are included.
On the front of the case, at the bottom, there are connections. They are 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C, 2 x USB 3.0 and an audio connection.

The video card should be a maximum of 326 millimeters long. The case qualifies ITX size class models as motherboards and SFX and SFX-L size classes as a power source.
Dust invasion is prevented by a dust filter on the bottom. Emphasis has also been placed on the cleanliness of Era 2 by providing two cable ties with stickers. Fractal Design has yet to reveal pricing information.
