Franz Ferdinand are back with a new song “Night or Day“, which is the second single from their upcoming album The Human Fear.
The song “Night or Day” is based on a busy piano part and combines a disco sound with warm harmonies and a syncopated rhythm, while powerful vocals highlight the frontman. Alexa Kapranosa. The dramatic atmosphere of the song is further emphasized by the black and white music video, which was directed by Rianne White and enriched with noir aesthetics.
Kapranos stated, “Life may not be easy, but let’s try to live it to the fullest, day or night. We worked with the extremely talented Rianne White to capture the Drama-Noir setting in which this album was created. It was shot on location at AYR Studios, where we felt the strong Scottish spirit.”
Franz Ferdinand are planning to release an album The Human Feartheir sixth studio release and first since 2018, is set for release on January 10, 2025. They previously released the lead single “Audacious.”
