The free information session “How do households become prosumers?” will be held on October 30, 2024, from 7 p.m., in the online edition, the Center for the Improvement of the Environment announced.
During this session, participants will have the opportunity to find out everything they need to become the owner of a solar power plant on the roof of a family house and start making savings through lower electricity bills – how to correctly determine the power of the power plant, how the calculation for prosumers works, and what are the concrete steps towards acquiring the status of “buyer-producer” and registration in the register of consumers. In addition, government subsidies that can significantly reduce installation costs will be discussed, as well as new items in the Energy Act that will directly affect consumers.
This information session is intended for owners of family houses, but also for all those who are interested in building a solar power plant or want to learn more about the possibilities of using renewable energy in households.

The info session will be led by Vladan Šćekić and Ivana Jovčić from the Center for Environmental Improvement, with the support of prosumers Nenad Maričić, Miloš Đorić and Miloš Đukanović.
