In mid-October, I shared with you a promotion in Play and calculations of its profitability for individual customers. It turns out that also for companies, this operator currently has an equally advantageous offer for a subscription with a smartphone and fiber optics – also on symmetrical connections.
You can read about the mentioned promotion for individual customers in this entry – Play pays the first 12 installments for the smartphone. Seriously, we checked it out. In the case of the offer for companies (for new customers), it looks much more favorable.
Mobile subscription – 12 months for PLN 0
We’ll start with the mobile subscription itself. When purchasing a new number or transferring it from another operator in the XL plan, for the first 12 months the bill will be PLN 0, and for the remaining 13 months of the contract – PLN 105 + VAT (PLN 129.15 with VAT).
This gives us an average of PLN 54.60 + VAT per month (PLN 67.15 with VAT). The costs for one number will be similar if you buy two numbers – without free months, but we have two subscriptions for the price of one throughout the entire contract.
Mobile subscription with Galaxy S24 Ultra one thousand zlotys cheaper
If we choose a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 5G 256GB smartphone in the same promotion for the same subscription, we will pay over a thousand zlotys less than its market price.
As we know, in the case of Samsung smartphones, it is best to check prices on the manufacturer’s website (more info on this – Samsung smartphones with refund to your account up to PLN 700, but be careful in which store you buy). And yes, this model currently costs PLN 5,299.00.
When assessing the profitability of a subscription with a long-term commitment to a smartphone, we usually compare it with a comparable offer without commitment and purchasing the same smartphone in a store.
The only comparable mobile offer for companies without obligation, with unlimited mobile and landline calls, unlimited SMS/MMS messages and Internet without data transfer and speed limits, is available in the Orange Flex subscription for PLN 65.04 + VAT (PLN 80 with VAT ) – let’s count.
For simplicity’s sake, we will calculate it together with VAT, someone who includes it in costs will simply gain more. In the Play subscription with this smartphone, throughout the entire contract we will pay for the subscription itself – PLN 1,678.95, and for the smartphone – PLN 4,159.00.
In turn, in the Orange Flex subscription, we will pay PLN 1,763.00 per number for 25 months (Orange Flex currently has a promotion for new customers for 3 months for PLN 1/month), and PLN 5,299.00 for a smartphone in the store.
Thus, the difference in fees for a mobile number is PLN 84.05 in favor of Play, and for a smartphone it is PLN 1,140.00 – also in favor of Play, so a very profitable option.
Mobile subscription with fiber optics – 12 months for PLN 0
If we need to buy a mobile subscription for the company, we also need it optical fibers – both services will be available for a year for PLN 0.
For example, for optical fibers with a speed limit of up to 1 Gb/s, we will pay PLN 1,105.00, i.e. PLN 44.20 + VAT per month throughout the entire contract, and for a symmetrical connection with the same speed – PLN 1,235.00 + VAT, i.e. PLN 49.40 + VAT per month.
To sum up, assuming maximum use of this promotion – for a mobile subscription with full no limit for everything, for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 5G 256GB smartphone and for symmetrical fiber optics with a speed limit of 1 Gb/s, averaged over the entire contract – 25 months, we will pay PLN 242 per month PLN .76 + VAT.
In turn, for the mobile subscription and optical fiber only, without a smartphone (not required to take advantage of the 12 months for PLN 0 promotion) – PLN 104 + VAT per month.
