Freedom Holding Corp. released its Q2 2025 results, showing significant growth in the company’s revenue and net profit. Due to the expansion, the company’s expenses also increased.
Freedom Holding Corp. (FRHC)’s results for the second quarter of 2025 showed that by the end of the reporting period, the holding’s turnover reached $580.9 million, which is 33% more than in the same quarter last year. One of the main factors of the turnover growth was a 2.8 times increase in insurance underwriting income, and an increase in trading profit to 68.3 million dollars, which was realized thanks to the positive revaluation of Kazakhstan’s sovereign bonds. The company’s net income increased from a previous loss to $6.5 million as a result of foreign exchange operations.
Holding expenses rose to $452.4 million, primarily due to expanded insurance operations, higher employee salaries and bonuses, and higher philanthropic and sponsorship expenses. As part of the development of the telecommunications business, in September of this year, Freedom Telecom Holding purchased the business transaction of TOO SilkNetCom, which specializes in the construction of information technologies and telecommunications networks for service providers. The amount of the transaction was 23.9 million dollars.
In the second quarter, Freedom Holding Corp. earned net income of $114.5 million, with earnings per share of $1.93. As of September 30 of this year, Freedom Holding Corp. grew the volume of assets to 8.816 billion dollars. The number of the company’s brokerage clients increased to 555,000.
