Bakalchuk’s procedural status after his release from custody is unknown. Other defendants in the Wildberries office shooting case (about 30 people) have been arrested until November 18, 2024.
September 19 to Vladislav Bakalchuk presented charges under the articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on murder, attempted murder, attempted murder of a law enforcement officer and arbitrariness. Searches were conducted at Bakalchuk’s place of residence.

Bakalchuk called the conflict in the company’s office that preceded his arrest a “cynical provocation.”
“I officially declare: we came to the office with peaceful intentions to resolve issues related to payments to employees and contractors of VB-Development, an audit of the so-called “merger,” and to familiarize ourselves with the necessary documents,” Bakalchuk wrote.
The conflict between spouses Tatyana and Vladislav Bakalchukov, which arose after the merger of the Wildberries marketplace and the outdoor advertising operator Russ, brought to the shooting at the Wildberries head office in central Moscow, in which two people were killed.
