As of July 1, 2024, the merger of FRILO Software GmbH and DC-Software Doster & Christmann GmbH with the ALLPLAN Group was legally completed. By joining forces, ALLPLAN expands its offer of solutions for statics to include static calculations and foundation of buildings, which creates a comprehensive workflow from conceptual design, static calculation and design, through detailed design, prefabrication to construction. This merger represents an important step in the development of integrated design-to-build solutions for architecture, through static analysis and design to structural detailing and prefabrication.

The integration of these three companies creates a unique portfolio of software solutions that covers the entire construction process from design to implementation: ALLPLAN provides a BIM platform for the AEC industry that covers the entire project workflow from initial concept through detailed design and interdisciplinary planning to manufacturing and construction. FRILO offers software solutions for the design of structural elements and supports statics in calculating the bearing capacity and stability of building structures made of reinforced concrete, steel, wood and masonry. DC-Software is a foundation solution provider that supports geotechnical engineers in calculating the stability of foundation and support structures and in their planning, design and dimensioning.

The official merger of SCIA, the world’s leading provider of structural analysis and design software, is expected to be completed in early 2025.
