Cristiano Ronaldo the visit to Lapland raised headlines and strong commentary on social media. Feelings heated up all the way to Norway.
Ronaldo and his wife Georgina Rodriguez had spent a successful vacation in Lapland, and the top soccer player also showed his competition endurance in the opening. The man walked like a beggar into the icy cold opening and stayed there for a long time.
When he got up from the opening, he by no means caught the cold, but calmly climbed up and everything seemed as if Ronaldo had experienced that before.
Then it started happening.
In one of the social media videos, Ronaldo is walking on the track wearing boots and pulling a stick behind him.
Walking on the piste is downright a sin in Finnish piste landscapes and the worst mistakes on Finnish ski trails. Well, the football star was probably completely unaware of that.
Ronaldo was advised on social media to walk next to the slopes – and by no means on the ski slopes. Norway’s cross-country Olympic champion eventually joined the rampage Erik Valnes. The man also advised Ronaldo to go outside the track and said that he frankly hates the football star.
Jari Litmanen blinks
Now it’s your turn Jari Litmanen, who opened his verbal opinion in his update on Instgram.
Litmanen was on the slopes for the first time this winter. The opinion came from him as well as from the pharmacy shelf.
– All kinds of Ronaldos messing up the tracks, he states.
The 53-year-old Litma is generally considered to be Finland’s best football player of all time. He became the first Finnish international soccer superstar in the 1990s. Especially in later years, Litmanen’s career was overshadowed by several injuries.
So now he has also joined the group of those who sent receipts to Ronaldo. We’ll see if Ronaldo comments back.
