Ulrich Wetzel’s “Youth Court” is returning to the program. However, another program with the lawyer disappears.
RTL’s production “Ulrich Wetzel – The Investigative Judge,” which was broadcast on weekdays at 5 p.m., apparently did not live up to expectations. The last edition is scheduled to air on Friday, as the station announced a few hours before it was broadcast. This program was shown for the first time in mid-September – Wetzel left the courtroom in this format. “Ulrich Wetzel – The Investigating Judge” was more similar to previously known investigative programs, so to speak, to fiction-light formats. Constantin Entertainment provided the format.
This company is also responsible for “Ulrich Wetzel – The Youth Court”. The show will now take over the 5 p.m. slot on RTL from Monday. Repeats from 2023 will be broadcast. In this format, cases are heard in a juvenile court; the hour before, Wetzel had adults in front of him in “Ulrich Wetzel – The Criminal Court”.
RTL: Most recently various attempts at 5 p.m
RTL recently tried several 30-minute programs in the 5 p.m. slot. This also included a new edition of the former Vox program “Sue me”. This will continue, but will find its way back to Vox in the new year. In addition, “new missions” from the “Blaulicht-Report” were shown on the broadcast slot. What RTL plans to do permanently at this time is still uncertain. Last but not least, the current program change shows that people are still trying things out themselves.
