From mobile clinic trucks for Pakistan to dedicated cinema units for the UK, Toutenkamion is Europe’s leading manufacturer of bespoke mobile units for the security, defence, healthcare and events industries.
“With the local Team France export, we have developed a strategy financed by simplified prospecting insurance”explains Stéphane Girerd, who took over the family business founded in 1936 in Ladon (Loiret) in 2009. As soon as their units in the Middle East, Asia and Africa were exhibited, the order books were full with 75% exported as early as 2016. Toutenkamion then strengthened itself by acquiring various bodybuilders or command post specialists such as Euro Shelter in 2019.
With six production sites in France and 400 employees, the group achieved sales of 35 million euros in 2023 and 44 million in 2024. “If our export share is 56%, our turnover has doubled. The health sector wants to offer screening and vaccination solutions as close as possible to the population.” Toutenkamion delivers to the South Pole, where a life base has been set up… on skis!
