From now on, anyone can use the dedicated Windows application –

The Windows App, which was previously under testing, has become widely available.

Last November, Microsoft presented its solution called Windows App, which serves the purpose of accessing the operating system from a single place, essentially from any device. The program, which was previously running in test mode, arrived on smartphones at the beginning of the month, and the other day it became widely available.

A Windows app is essentially a gateway to stream an instance of Windows from various sources, such as Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft Dev Box, and remote PCs.

“We’re excited to announce that starting today, the Windows App is generally available for Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and web browsers — and in public preview for Android. The Windows App provides a unified experience that enables users to join the Windows experience they know and love.”

– reads Microsoft in his statement.

The application for Windows is a Microsoft Storefrom, for iOS and macOS App Storeand for Android from the Play Store – the latter will in principle become available in a public preview later today.
