Alfa Romeo announces that the dynamic development of the 33 Stradale is going according to plan and gives us a clip with the sound produced by the engine of this exclusive supercar.
Almost a year ago, Alfa Romeo presented its newest supercar, called the 33 Stradale. This new exclusive model will be produced in limited numbers, and its dynamic development is proceeding according to plans, according to Alfa Romeo.
The prototype presented almost a year ago at the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese continues its international tour, participating in the biggest automotive events in the world – the most recent being the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The V6 thermal engine used for the 33 Stradale develops 620 hp, just like in the case of the Maserati MC20, a car with which the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale shares some components, including chassis elements. Engine power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale – How the 600+ HP V6 engine sounds
According to what was initially communicated by Alfa Romeo, the new 33 Stradale can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 333 km/h.
Produced by Alfa Romeo Centro Stile, the new 33 Stradale is inspired by the historic model from 1967. Limited to just 33 examples, the 33 Stradale was available in Tributo and Alfa Corse variants, as all were purchased.
The clip published by Alfa Romeo, entitled “From piano to allegro”, opens with a scene where we are presented with the interior and exterior design of the car, while in the background we can hear the notes produced by a piano.
Then the car comes to life and we can hear the V6 engine start up. From here, the clip takes us on a curved road, next to 33 Stradale. Here we can hear the sound of the supercharged V6 engine. Also, Alfa Romeo initially announced that there will also be purely electric copies of the new 33 Stradale. We don’t know exact figures, but the manufacturer said then that we can expect over 750 HP and about 450 km of autonomy. However, that version does not produce these sounds.
