From start-ups to key players at SPS 2024

This year’s SPS – Smart Production Solutions, the highlight of the year-end automation industry calendar, will be held in Nuremberg on November 12-14, 2024. For more than three decades, exhibitors and potential customers from all over the world have visited this platform for international success the world. And there is every reason to expect a repeat this year.

A pioneer in the automation industry, SPS offers three days of information on the latest products, solutions and innovations, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the rapidly evolving world of automation. Approximately 1,200 companies from the field will be presented in a total of 16 exhibition halls with an area of ​​125,000 m². International key players in automation such as Bosch Rexroth, Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Mitsubishi Electric Europe, Yaskawa Europe, Advantech Europe, ABB, igus, STMicroelectronics International, Contrinex Sensor, Exor International and Microchip Technology Ireland will return this year. However, the fair also attracts many newcomers who are exhibiting at SPS for the first time.

SPS – an event in the field that will not be forgotten

According to data from last year, 13,851 (i.e. 28%) of the 50,081 visitors came from outside Germany. Due to the wide range of suppliers of automation technology and its highly professional nature, SPS is generally considered a must-attend event.

Product presentations and live demonstrations

At a total of four exhibition forums in halls 1, 3, 6 and 8, visitors from all over the world can familiarize themselves with the latest trends and products, listen to expert presentations and panel discussions and enjoy live demonstrations. The program of the technology podium, the forums in Hall 3, presented by the German Association of Machine and Equipment Manufacturers (VDMA) and the German Association of Electrotechnical and Digital Industry (ZVEI), will also be broadcast live via the complementary digital platform “SPS on air” and is available in German and English. Grouped stands as additional attractions for visitors

The long-standing joint stand “Automation meets IT” in Hall 6 with approximately 20 exhibitors will offer visitors a comprehensive view of this issue and the opportunity to receive individual advice from suppliers.

Those interested can familiarize themselves with the new and improved products, processes and services of young innovative German companies at the “young INNOVATORS” stand in hall 8, which is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection. This hall will also house another “Start-up Area” where visitors can discover even more innovations from international automation newcomers.
