“He is a great worker, detail-oriented!”
Srdjan Blagojević was appointed as the new coach Partizan. His name has not been in media speculation lately, which further surprised the fans, who were expecting the arrival of a well-known coaching name.
However, among those praising this move is the goalkeeper Marko Miloševićwho had the opportunity to collaborate with Blagojevic in several clubs.
Milosevic worked with a new coach Partizan u Caspian i Hold on in Kazakhstan, as well as in Debrecen u Hungaryand for Mozzart sport, he shared his impressions of Blagojević’s characteristic coaching style.
– I think that he suits Partizan the most now because where we were, he turned average players into top players. And, since the black and whites also have top footballers, it won’t be difficult for me to make the right team for Partizan. Blagojević really likes playing from the back line, the ball at his feet. He is a great worker, detail oriented. He pays a lot of attention to interruptions. I think he will bring something new to our football, something different. He nurtures a similar system of football as, for example, Marko Savić, who is now in Čukarički, that “Guardiola style”. In every team I was in with him, we had a lot of possession. When we were in the Caspian, the ratio was 70-30 percent in our favor. It was the same after in Astana. And in Debrecen, here’s an example, we played away against Ferencvaros, we won 3:1, and we had 70 percent possession. Blagojević will need some time to put everything together, but also specific players for that game system – he declared Milosevic.
In addition, Blagojevic is known for his good performance in derbies, which is additionally encouraging for Partizan fans.
– The biggest derby in Kazakhstan is Astana – Kairat. We won it 6:0, which is the biggest victory in history. And, in those moments, Astana was in a similar situation as Partizan is now. A lot of turbulence in the administration, the playing staff had to be changed, ten new players arrived in the winter transfer window… I think we beat Kajrat 4:0 away from home as well. Double win. As for Hungary, we had a win and a draw against Ferencvaros, so I would say that Blagojević has a pretty good record in derbies. Now, this one of ours is specific, different from the ones mentioned, and the current difference between the clubs is bigger. But, all things considered, I think that Partizan will be fine with Srdjan. I really wish him all the best, that he succeeds in Humska – he concluded Marko Milošević.
