Fuel prices rise this week

The week begins with a new rise in fuel prices.

Estimates from the Automóvel Clube de Portugal (ACP) point to an increase of half a cent in both diesel and gasoline,

If these predictions are confirmed, the average price of regular diesel should cost R$1.563 per liter while that of regular 95 gasoline should be R$1.71 per liter.

The new prices already take into account the discounts applied by gas stations and the review of temporary tax measures to help mitigate the increase in fuel prices.

Despite these predictions, prices must be confirmed at the pumps as they depend on each station, the brand and the area where it is located.

According to data provided by the General Directorate of Energy and Geology, 95-grade gasoline last Thursday cost 1,705 euros, while diesel cost 1,558 euros.
