Fujitsu has launched the lightest laptop with integrated AI

The Japanese company recently launched the FMV Zero Lifebook WU5/J3, the world’s lightest 14-inch laptop.

A wedge device

With a weight of only 634 grams, this new model can easily receive the title of “the lightest laptop” in its category.

The device is manufactured from carbon fiber. This material is known for its strength and light weight.

Military grade resistance

The company has made no compromises when it comes to durability. The laptop has been tested to MIL-STD-810H military standards, which means it can withstand shocks, drops and pressure.

These qualities make it the ideal choice for people who work in demanding environments or who are constantly on the move.

A laptop with AI

The model uses the latest Intel Core Ultra processors, available in Core Ultra 5 125U or Core Ultra 7 155U variants.

They come equipped with integrated neural processing units specifically designed to accelerate AI-based tasks.

Users will benefit from advanced features like facial and fingerprint recognition for fast authentication, noise cancellation during video calls, and AI tools built into Windows 11 and Office 2024.

Connectivity in a compact design

Despite its small size, the laptop offers an impressive array of ports: two USB-A, two USB-C, a full-sized HDMI, an Ethernet, a microSD card slot and a headphone jack.

Users can choose RAM configurations between 8GB and 64GB and SSD storage from 256GB to 2TB.

Autonomy

The laptop’s battery promises between 6 and 11 hours of autonomy, depending on configuration and usage. It also comes with mobile charging support.

An exclusive offer, for now

Currently, the new model is only available for pre-order in Japan, with a starting price of around $1,325. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the middle of next month.
