Furniture manufacturer Standard reduced turnover and increased losses

The turnover of the furniture manufacturer Standard AS fell six times during the year and remained at a loss of 1.86 million euros. The company itself calls 2023 a breakthrough year.

The turnover of Standard AS last year was 3.78 million euros. In 2022, it was 23.14 million euros. The company’s report states that 2023 was a year of revolutionary changes for Standard. The change of ownership that took place in the spring, after which Green Estonia OÜ became the major owner with a 90% stake, was followed by the restart of the company from May. In the summer, key employees were brought back to the company, production was restarted at the Kose unit, and active sales were started both on the domestic market and on foreign markets, according to the company’s annual report.
