G.SKILL has demonstrated the extreme performance of its new DDR5 CSO-DIMM memory, reaching speeds of DDR5-8133 with a 48GB (2x24GB) kit on the newly announced ASRock DeskMini B860 system. The test was carried out using an Intel Core Ultra 9 285 processor.
CSO-DIMM memories represent a new format that adds a clock driver to the compact design of SO-DIMMs, supported by the latest Intel Core Ultra 200 processor platforms. This innovation allows for exceptional overclocking performance in small systems.
The ASRock DeskMini B860 system proved crucial to these resultsthanks to its support for DDR5 CSO-DIMMs and its overclocking capabilities. The tested configuration achieved timings of CL46-52-52-130 at the frequency of 8133 MHz.
A representative from G.SKILL said: “We are excited to partner with ASRock to explore the overclocking potential of new DDR5 CSO-DIMM memory as the technology continues to push for higher performance in a smaller, more compact form factor.”
The ASRock DeskMini B860 system offers:
- Support for DDR5 CSO-DIMM memories
- Multiple USB connectivity options
- Support for four storage devices
- Intel Thunderbolt 4
- Support for four independent displays
These features make the system ideal for professional workflows, immersive multimedia applications e advanced digital signage. The collaboration between ASRock and G.SKILL highlights the potential of cutting-edge memory technologies in compact computing solutions.
