Apple recently announced that a new show aimed at younger viewers, “The World of Gabba Gabba!”, will debut in the Apple TV+ catalog next month. Today, the official trailer was released.
“The World of Gabba Gabba!” will be an extension of the program “Yo Gabba Gabba!”, originally broadcast by the American television station Nickelodeon from 2007 to 2015. Like the original, it will be a music program with guest appearances by artists performing songs related to the theme of a given episode. In the first season, these will include Anderson .Paak, Portugal. The Man, Thundercat, Betty Who, The Linda Lindas, Miyavi, Cory Wong, Antwaun Stanley, Kurt Vile, The Drums and The Interrupters. The program will also feature guest appearances by actors such as Reggie Watts, Sam Richardson and Gillian Jacobs. The host will be young dancer Kamryn Smith.
The premiere of the program “Gabba Gabba World!” on Apple TV+ has been announced for August 9. It will probably offer optional Polish dubbing and audio description.
