Gala unveils the new version of its site




The Gala media is launching, this Monday, November 25, its new redesigned “mobile and video first” site and based on the technical architecture developed for the Figaro Group sites.

After the launch last March of the new format of its weekly magazine, Gala – which has 13.4 million print and digital readers per month (source One Next Global H1 2024) – is launching the new version of its site, Gala .fr. His ambition? Highlight “the editorial and commercial strength of the title, the know-how of its trimedia editorial team and the major power of the Gala brand on social media”, as the media indicates in a press release.

Completely redesigned “Mobile and Video first” and based on the technical architecture developed for all Figaro Group sites, the new Gala.fr must benefit “of the brand’s unique impact on social networks”. While on Instagram, Gala has just crossed the milestone of 1.1 million subscribers, the media is approaching 14.5 million subscribers on TikTok, thus occupying the place of 3rd media account in the world. In total, the title displays 16.1 million social accounts (not deduplicated).

A partnership with Lonchamp concluded for the occasion

Gala is taking advantage of this overhaul to inaugurate a brand new “Vertical Video” format (which will soon be deployed on other Figaro Group sites). It allows it to host most of the video stories created for its various social media.

In terms of advertising experience, the new Gala site will offer event formats and integrated into affinity contexts, allowing brands to “maximize campaign engagement and visibility by improving user experience”. To mark the launch of this new version, a special operation was set up with Longchamp, as an exclusive partner.
