Galaxy A36 Design Officially Leaked

Samsung’s Galaxy A36 5G model appeared on Geekbench just yesterday. A day later, we have all the details about the phone’s design, thanks to reliable source OnLeaks.

We expected Samsung to stick to its usual design trend, but this time the company seems to have gone back. The Galaxy A36 has a pill-shaped, vertically aligned camera island on the back.

The phone looks slightly taller, which will result in a slightly larger 6.64-inch display. Fortunately, the device will be slightly thinner, but the camera bump increases the overall thickness to 9.6mm.

There is no information yet on battery capacity, but we hope a high-capacity battery is used.

On the processor side, the latest Geekbench report suggests that the A36 may come with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or 7s Gen 2 processor. If true, this will be one of the critical changes in the A series.

We see classic Samsung traces on the front of the phone. The frames look a bit asymmetrical, but overall they present a familiar look. We don’t see a fingerprint reader on the side, so we guess it’s an under-display fingerprint reader.
