Galaxy A56 will be beautiful! The first renders show a radical design change

  • Samsung is preparing the Galaxy A56 with a redesigned camera module
  • The phone will offer 45W charging as the first in the Galaxy A series
  • The display will remain flat and, unfortunately, it will also have a larger chin

Although the premiere is not expected until March next year, the first renders of the upcoming smartphone have already appeared on the Internet Samsung Galaxy A56. The South Korean manufacturer traditionally bets on a proven design for this model series, but this time it comes with a more significant change in the form of a redesigned photo module.

New look, familiar hardware

At first glance, the Galaxy A56 does not differ much from its predecessor – it offers flat 120Hz AMOLED display with a slot for a selfie camera and, unfortunately, a traditionally larger chin. However, the back side underwent a more significant change, where Samsung abandoned the separate circular modules for the individual cameras. He replaced them with a uniform one pill-shaped module covered with black glasswhich protrudes more prominently above the surface of the back.

The side frame remains flat, only on the right side we find a raised part for the volume and power buttons. We already know this design element from last year, it was presented under the name Key Island. A fingerprint reader will be integrated under the display and the entire device will also receive IP67 certification.

Finally, faster charging

According to available information, the Galaxy A56 should be the first model of the A series to offer support for 45W fast charging. The chipset takes care of the performance Exynos 1580it will probably get 8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage.

Samsung has also significantly extended software support for this series. While last year’s A55 model received 4 years of major updates, the Galaxy A56 is to offer now 6-year support. That’s very solid for the mid-range, so the phone will theoretically offer up to Android 21 if it’s introduced straight away with Android 15, which I’d expect.

When will we see the show?

Samsung traditionally presents its A-series models in March, and this time should be no different. Since the previous models A54 and A55 were launched in March 2023 and 2024 respectively, it is highly likely that we will see the Galaxy A56 in March 2025.
