Galp to pay interim dividend of 28 cents from 19 August – Dividends

Galp shareholders will receive an interim dividend of €0.28 per share, starting on August 19, as decided by the oil company’s board of directors. This dividend is attributed on account of the 2024 results, given that this year’s numbers are looking good.

Therefore, the shares will go ex-dividend – that is, they will no longer grant the right to this remuneration – on August 15, according to the statement released by the Securities Market Commission (CMVM).

This remuneration represents a dividend yield of 1.51% compared to the closing price of the oil company’s shares in Monday’s session (18.59 euros).

The net dividend will be 0.2016 euros for those who withhold 28% of their IRS (in the case of private investors) and 0.21 euros for those who withhold 25% (companies).

Galp closed the session at the start of the week down 0.64% to 18.59 euros, affected by the global selloff triggered by fears of a recession in the United States.
