Six of the 16 garbage containers placed since the beginning of the year on the side of the national roads in Arad County were stolen. The trekkers are now chaining them.

Since the beginning of the year, 16 larger dumpsters have been placed on several heavily trafficked national roads in Arad county, announces the Timişoara Regional Directorate of Roads and Bridges.
Six of these have already been stolen.
“SDN Arad reported to the police stations in Şimand, Petriş and Săvârşin. It was recommended to secure the containers with a chain, which the road users from Arad did. A new theft attempt was prevented, the chain being only partially cut (photo). This dumpster has withstood…”, the hikers wrote on Facebook, where they also posted a photo with a cut chain.
They announce that video cameras will be placed in 22 of the parking lots within the administrative radius of DRDP Timişoara.
“We prepared some parking lots to mount the cameras on the pole. And, surprise… A pole has already been stolen”, says DRDP Timiş.
