Garmin Instinct E is a cheaper durable watch. They last a long time and have handy functions

Along with the Instinct 3 watch, the popular sports accessories manufacturer Garmin also released it the cheaper Instinct E model. A similar pattern was seen a few months ago, when the Fenix 8 flagship family was also accompanied by a cheaper version marked with the letter E. Durable novelty for less demanding it comes out to 7,490 CZK and is available in sizes 40mm and 45mm. Let’s take a look at her equipment together.

Of course, the watch is dominated by nothing else monochrome transreflective MIP displaywhich compared to more vivid AMOLEDs offers always great visibility in the sun. Unfortunately, this time it does not support solar charging, which is understandable for a cheaper model. If you would like a watch with this feature, you can reach for the more expensive Instinct 3, or one of the models of the previous generation. Therefore, the battery life of the Instinct E is kept at “just” 16 days. However, this is still a high enough value that you won’t be bothered by too fast a discharge.

The display is surrounded by a reinforced body that can handle even rougher handling and meets 10 ATM certification and military normu MIL-STD-810. Enthusiasts in outdoor activities will not be disappointed with the Instinct E. However, what I see as their weak point in everyday use is absence Garmin Pay. In short, it’s a shame that a watch with a price of over 7,000 doesn’t support contactless payment.

In any case, the sports functions can lift the mood. The presence, for example, pleases running coach, VO2 Max, regeneration time indicators or age estimation by condition. From the point of view of health, we can then pierce measuring heart rate variabilityan overview of body loadpulse oximeter, breathing monitoring or monitoring of women’s health. The start of the new day is then a morning report with sleep statistics and an overview of the events that await you.
