DAPURPACUID – Daihatsu is now coming to Balikpapan to provide weekend entertainment for the community and loyal customers through an event entitled Daihatsu Gathering Friends on Sunday, November 3 2024, 07:00–18:00 WITA.
The event, which is located at Kilang Mandiri Beach, Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, is ready to present an exciting experience for visitors in Balikpapan and its surroundings, and is open to the public at no charge.
Daihatsu Gumpul Sahabat Balikpapan 2024 will be a gathering event with a variety of interesting activities and entertainment that can be enjoyed, starting from typical Indonesian culinary festivals and other creative products from food trucks and local MSMEs, rolling thunder of the Daihatsu car community together with the two-wheeled community, Zumba together, exciting games and competitions for children and adults, performances by the famous band D’MASIV, talk shows, and even the opportunity to win door prizes of millions of rupiah.
“This event was held for the first time in Balikpapan, as well as being the 6th city in the series of Kumpul Sahabat events this year. We hope that the people of Balikpapan can enjoy the excitement of this weekend’s event, as well as having a positive impact on customers, MSMEs, the community and the whole community, ” said Rokky Irvayandi, Domestic Marketing Division Head of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor.
This event was enlivened by visitors from various communities, ranging from Daihatsu car users, two-wheelers, the Zumba community, to the local community. Along with the festive momentum of the Gathering of Friends event, Daihatsu also gave Xetia With Xenia appreciation, namely an award to Daihatsu
In this event, Daihatsu provides business actors with the opportunity to collaborate with local MSMEs to sell at this event by presenting culinary vendors, food trucks and a luggage bazaar. There are various culinary choices that can be enjoyed, such as traditional food and drinks, to other interesting creative products.
Daihatsu also cares about public health which is realized by providing blood donation facilities in collaboration with PMI (Indonesian Red Cross) in Balikpapan. Apart from keeping visitors healthy, this activity is also a form of humanitarian action. This program is part of Daihatsu’s social commitment in accordance with one of the pillars of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), namely Healthy Together with Daihatsu.
