(Health Korea News / Changyong Lee) GC Green Cross Medical Foundation held the completion ceremony of its Honam branch on the 27th.
The completion ceremony was held at the Honam branch of the GC Green Cross Medical Foundation located in Buk-gu, Gwangju. Starting with a greeting by Lee Eun-hee, Chairman of the GC Green Cross Medical Foundation, a commemorative speech by Lee Sang-gon, CEO of the GC Green Cross Medical Foundation, a congratulatory speech by GC Chairman Heo Il-seop, and a congratulatory speech by Shin Myeong-geun, the incoming Chairman of the Korean Society of Laboratory Medicine, followed. Afterwards, an appreciation plaque award ceremony, tape cutting ceremony, and photo taking were held.
The Honam branch of GC Green Cross Medical Foundation is the first regional testing center established in the Honam region in 2010. Last August, in order to respond to the increasing demand every year, we expanded and relocated to approximately 5 times the size of the existing laboratory, providing even more enhanced medical services to the local community.
The newly completed Honam Branch is comprised of the highest level of professional medical personnel in Korea, led by Honam Branch Director Kim Dal-sik. ▲24-hour laboratory operation ▲sample collection twice a day ▲timely transport of samples through an emergency testing system and high-quality sample testing to provide optimal treatment support.
Kim Dal-sik, head of the Honam Branch of the GC Green Cross Medical Foundation, said, “Since its opening, the Honam Branch of the GC Green Cross Medical Foundation has played a key role in improving the health and accessibility to medical care for residents of the Honam region and has established itself as a trusted testing center.” “Through this, we will be able to provide improved specimen testing services, which we expect will greatly contribute to the development and revitalization of local medical care.”
Meanwhile, key officials including Chairman Heo, CEO Lee, representatives of GC affiliates, and the new chairman of the Korean Society of Laboratory Medicine attended the completion ceremony.
