Geely is coming to Greece in early 2025

Geo Mobility Hellas has just announced that from the beginning of 2025 it will introduce the Geely brand in Greece, with a range of electric, plug-in hybrid and hybrid models.

The Greek importing company is a subsidiary of Union Group, a multinational company with extensive holdings in the automotive, retail, energy and real estate sectors.

Geely needs no special introduction, as it is one of the largest global car groups, a member of Geely Holdings, which has in its portfolio companies such as Volvo, Geely Auto, Lynk & Co, Polestar, Zeekr, Lotus, Proton, Smart, Farizon and others.

The introduction of Geely Auto in our country marks an important milestone in the company’s global expansion and in Europe. The first model to hit our roads is the Geely Galaxy EX5, a new electric C-SUV model unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show last April. It has an electric motor, an output of 215 hp and a range of 425 kilometers (WLTP) on a single charge.

The vehicle is equipped with the innovative Geely Short Blade battery, designed for a lifetime of up to one million kilometers. The car is also equipped with a wide range of advanced ADAS active safety systems.

Geo Mobility Hellas plans to expand its range of offerings in Greece with additional electric and plug-in hybrid models as part of Geely’s sustainability strategy.

Geely says that its models starting with the letter ā€œEā€ represent its pure electrics, while those starting with ā€œLā€ are plug-in hybrids. Additionally, even numbers represent sedan models, with odd numbers reserved for SUVs.

According to Geely, Galaxy cars will benefit from its latest technologies, such as the Aegis battery safety system that protects the battery pack during direct impacts and prevents thermal leakage. The cars will feature the Galaxy N-Operating System which can be ready to run in just 0.5 seconds.
