- Google Gemini in Google News is apparently expanding to a larger number of Czechs
- So you can have an assistant capable of communicating in Czech at your fingertips
- It can’t generate images, but it can work with the ones you give it
At the end of July, the Google Gemini artificial intelligence learned to understand the spoken word in Czech, and at the same time it officially received support in the Google Messages of Czech users. While back then it only reached a few, now the AI assistant has apparently spread to more people at once.
On Saturday, the integration of Google Gemini in Google News became available to me and another colleague in the editorial office, which indicates a wider introduction to the Czech Republic. Please take a look at the application and let us know in the Community if the assistant has already arrived for you.
Google has Gemini in Google News the dedicated icon located above the “Start chat” button. When you click on it for the first time, a window will pop up to welcome you and introduce you to what Gemini can do, how its implementation into Messages works, and what its pitfalls are.
After starting a conversation, Gemini will appear in Messages in the list of recent chats just like your regular contacts. However, if you miss something, you can still access it using that icon.
Gemini in Google News is ideal for discussing simpler topics. The assistant can’t generate images, but it can work with the ones you upload yourself.
How often do you use Google Gemini?
