Ghost cybercrime platform dismantled

Operation against Ghost involved several countries

The operation was carried out with the assistance of authorities from Australia, Canada, France, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden and the United States, as part of a broader commitment to combating global organised crime.

The joint effort prevented several threats to life, dismantled a drug lab in Australia and led to the global seizure of weapons, drugs and more than 1 million euros in cash, according to Europol.

In addition, it resulted in the arrest of 51 suspects from various countries, with more arrests expected, according to information provided by Reuters.
