Epic Games Store the long list continues Christmas gifts with the beautiful Ghostrunner 2 (here you can find our review), which you can download for free until 5pm today, December 27th.
The title continues the story of the adventures of Jack, the Cyber-ninja who was already the protagonist of the first chapter, picking up the story where we left off. Jack finds himself having to face the threat of a cult dedicated to artificial intelligence, whose followers threaten the survivors of humanity outside the Dharma Tower.
In this second chapter there is no shortage of gameplay innovationsstarting with the introduction of the motorbike, which adds a fair amount of variety (even if the on-foot sections remain more convincing). Despite the news, Ghostrunner 2 still remains a purely action title, which maintains the first-person gameplay features seen in the first chapter.
Ghostrunner 2 has quite accessible mini requirements, considering that one is enough GTX 960 or Radeon RX 480 to play. However, the best experience is had with the recommended requirements, which include at least one RTX 2070 SUPER, a Radeon RX 6800 XT or an Arc A770. The game also supports the main upscaling technologies: there are AMD FSR2, Intel XeSS 1.3 and DLSS 3 con Frame Generation.
To redeem the game, all you have to do is visit the Ghostrunner 2 page on the Epic Games Store and click the “Get” button, then simply follow the on-screen instructions. Don’t worry if you’re on a Mac or Smartphone: the site will show the “platform not supported” warning, but you can still redeem the game and add it to your library, and then download it to your PC.
