Gigabyte is a manufacturer of many products and for some time now we can also find gaming monitors in its offer. We have two new products here, the 27″ monitor MO27Q2 and the 31.5″ version MO32U. In both cases, these are OLED displays. MO27Q2 it has a QHD resolution, i.e. 2560×1440 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 240 Hz. Its full-area brightness is a maximum of only 250 nits, however, it can peak in a small area (HDR APL 3%) up to 1000 nits. According to the manufacturer, it received the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. The contrast is 1.5M:1, the GTG response is 0.03 ms and it supports 10-bit colors (1.07 billion shades). We also have the ClearMR 13000 certification. The monitor is factory calibrated (Delta E<2).
Ports include two HDMI 2.1, one DisplayPort 1.4, one USB-C (DP-Alt, 18W PD), two USB 3.2 downstream and one upstream, as well as an audio jack for headphones. A pair of 5W speakers take care of the sound system here. Gamers can use the OSD Sidekick and functions such as Black Equalizer, Dashboard, Crosshair, Timer, Counter, Night Vision, Eagle Eye, and PiP/PbP or KVM Switch are also suitable for work. The consumption of the monitor is 41 W. It handles 130 mm height adjustment, tilt -5° to +21°, rotation +/-15°, pivot function and the possibility of mounting on the wall (VESA 100×100mm).
MO32U is a larger variant that boasts a UHD 4K resolution (3840×2160 pixels), but the price is a lower refresh rate of 165 Hz. Most of the specifications are the same, the difference is the ClearMR 9000 certification. The positionability is also the same, another difference is the slightly higher consumption due to the larger area and the larger number of pixels. It is 54 W.
