Gigi Becali convinced himself that he took the biggest stake when he let the striker go for such a small fee! Andrea Compagno has China at his feet

Gigi Becali gave up the red-blue scorer extremely easily, but he surely regrets giving it up for such a small amount.

Andrea Compagno feels great in China, where he puts on a show in every game for Tianjin Jinmen Tiger, the 6th place in the Chinese first league. Gigi Becali lost a modest amount, and now the share of the Italian top has “exploded” thanks to the spectacular evolution of the last year.

Gigi Becali made the worst deal when he sold Andrea Compagno

The landowner from Pipera was not inspired at all when he decided to give up on Andrea Compagno so easily. Gigi Becali was not happy that the striker has a style of play that did not suit the way he saw the game and preferred to let him go for just €120,000.

Two years ago, FCSB paid 1.5 million euros in exchange for the Italian for the move from FCU Craiova. The player quickly integrated into the team coached by Elias Charalambous and scored 20 goals in 55 matches. From the position of the best striker in the Superliga, he quickly fell out of favor with the boss and was transferred almost for free to China, where Compagno adapted very well.

Last month he scored four goals and was included in China’s ideal team of the month sportpesurse. Since coming to Tianjin Jinmen Tiger, Compagno has scored 19 goals in 24 games and his fee has increased to three million euros. At the time of his departure from FCSB, the Italian’s market share was 900,000 euros.

Andrea Compagno, difficult moments at FCSB: “It’s impossible to understand”

The Italian striker fell into disgrace with the financier FCSB completely innocently because he was doing a good job in the team, but he had started to get less minutes on the field and the last six months were the most difficult. Andrea Compagno stated that it is impossible for him to understand what happened given the fact that he was coming off a very good season in which he was the team’s top scorer.

The last 6 months have been very hard for me. I tried to always be professional. It’s normal to be hard when you don’t feel appreciated. I only felt appreciation from the fans and I want to thank them. It was an honor to play for them. It’s impossible to understand what happened in the last few months, considering last season. Last year was probably the most beautiful of my life. I didn’t think it would happen like this. But hard times help. I grew up a lot. That’s it,” said Andrea Compagno before leaving Romania.
