Delia Budeanu, one of the most admired presenters of TVR and also the most beautiful in the history of Romanian television, has died.
Delia Budeanu found out in 1993 that she was suffering from cancer. But she had defeated him. In 2002, with a smile on her face, she revealed how she managed to beat this disease.
“I had a hellish war that I went through with Radu, my husband. I had a hell of a cancer. Do you know how I got over this cancer? Regardless of the diagnosis. I didn’t think it was a correct diagnosis and I went to a great doctor after Professor Tașcu diagnosed me. I also had an operation. The diagnosis was something like neoplasm I don’t know how in the small intestine.
They put me on chemotherapy. But I didn’t take it seriously. I didn’t give two cents. I said everyone is wrong. I said I can’t have cancer. I know it’s unbelievable, but it worked for me.
The first dose of chemotherapy made me very sick. I was so sick that I decided to remove two ingredients and leave only one component. The latter had calcium. Without anyone knowing, I threw two in the trash and one I was making. I didn’t tell anyone, because I wouldn’t be allowed. The doctor didn’t know. The nurse didn’t realize what I was doing.

It’s unbelievable, but I did calcium for six months. Basically, I didn’t do chemotherapy, my hair didn’t fall out, nothing happened. The doctors didn’t realize because what I had to do was to go to an office on Thursday, just me and the nurse, to get an injection. That was chemotherapy. I was not hospitalized, I was only going on Thursday for this procedure”, said Delia Budeanu.
“I am an example! After the first dose of chemotherapy, my liver couldn’t take it. I was going to die then. I had horrible chills. My bed made of walnut wood – placed in the middle – hit the wall like it didn’t even during the earthquake. I had such chills! Then I had a temperature of 40 degrees. I was going to die, and then I said: “I’ll show you chemotherapy!” God… if the doctor sees this show… she’ll say I’m a troglodyte”, said Delia Budeanu in the show Profesionisti produced by Eugenia Vodă, according to DcNews.
