Donald Trump held its first speech and 47th president of the United States of Americaafter she won the challenge with Kamala Harris at US elections of 5 November 2024.

Donald Trump’s first speech as the new US president

The Republican leader took the stage at the Palm Beach convention center with his entire family, to claim victory in the 2024 US elections.

Melania and all her children were present, including Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner. The chant ‘Usa Usa’ rose up from the audience.

Donald Trump said: “Tonight we made historyis America’s golden age. We will make it great again, it’s a magnificent victory. We also won the popular vote and the Senate. We will fix the USA, we will help the country heal. This is a movement never seen before, this is the greatest movement in history. We will have control of the House.”

The new US president then added: “Someone told me that God spared me for a reason. And now we will complete the mission: I will keep my promises. I want to thank you,” said Donald Trump referring to the two attempted assassinations of which he was the victim.

Donald Trump again: “This campaign has been historic. We are the party of common sense, we want border security.”

How the 2024 US elections went

While the votes are still being counted, Donald Trump has already claimed victory in the 2024 US presidential elections. Fox has announced that the Republican leader is the 47th president of the United States of America, while other broadcasters – such as CNN – have decided to wait for other screenings.

The first polling stations to close in the US during the Italian night (at 1am) were those in Georgia, one of the states in the balance. Thirty minutes later it was North Carolina’s turn. At 2 o’clock it was Pennsylvania’s turn, the state that may have really decided the new occupant of the White House. Between 4 and 7 in the morning (in Italy), the polling stations in the westernmost states closed.

The leader of the League Matteo Salvini he has already congratulated Donald Trump on his victory.
